Heading into the middle weekend in July we find ourselves loving that we have enough clothes, shoes, other fashion items and are now going all out on makeup and skin care.

Jane Iredale Review – Pure Pressed Eye Shadows

A friend brought over many different mineral makeup brands that she’s tried and the first we’d like to review is Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Eye Shadows.

With my fair rosy complexion, brown hair and blue eyes, I decided to try the Jane Iredale Pure Pressed eye shadows in Oyster, Ecru and Slate Brown.

I used the Ecru over the entire lid, the Slate Brown as an outer contour V shape for dramatic glamour like Angelina Jolie as I love that look, and the Oyster in the upper/ounter eye area right below the outer brow.

I also use the Slate Brown as a liner paste, though it didn’t have a nice workable texture as some mineral makeup brands do. 

The Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Eye colors worked and blended well and that texture was nice.

The colors stayed true for a nice look without touch-ups for several hours, though not all day as I really like as a makeup artist.

I did find they made my upper eye lid itch a bit but I am like alot of women that have reactions to bismuth/biron so I do try to choose brands that are bismuth and biron free.

Overall I liked the Jane Iredale Pure Prsssed Eye Shadows and will probably test them again.
